| Ian Abercrombie Dies At 77 |
|
This past weekend, actor Ian Abercrombie, whose work includes such films as Army of Darkness, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, and Young Frankenstein, the TV series Seinfeld, Babylon 5, Star Trek Voyager, and Disney's Wizards of Waverly Place, as well as voicing Chancellor Palpatine/Darth Sidious on The Clone Wars, has died at age 77. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and Ian will be sorely missed.

You heard right, if you are interested in being a Star Wars pod caster for Galactic Voyage in a weekly podcast, then here is your chance! How serious and active are you with Star Wars? Do you keep up with the movies, books, games, Clone Wars TV Show, etc.? Just do up a demo reel with at least a 2 minute mp3 recording of your voice, talking about anything Star Wars. It will help me to know if your fun, easy to talk to, and just plain awesome. You also need to make sure of the following: 1) Please provide your age 2) Have a good internet connection 3) Have a Skype account in good standing 4) Have a good quality microphone or headset (sorry no desktop mic with external speakers or webcam mics) 5) Be flexible to record when the host sets a date/time. If you think you are the one, be sure to e-mail the recording to podcast@galactic-voyage.com and I look forward to hearing from you!
