Today's new video in the Movies Section is from Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure. For those old enough to remember, yesterday marked the 30th anniversary of the first televised Ewok movie — yes, the first — there were two – called The Ewok Adventure (or Caravan of Courage). Airing in the US on the evening of November 25, 1984 (and subsequently screened theatrically in select theaters abroad at Christmas), it was followed in 1985 by Battle for Endor, which continued the adventures of Cindel Towani, the young girl marooned on Endor in the first Ewok Adventure (the original title before Caravan of Courage was added). | New Animated Series Set During Sequel Era | |
/Film has exclusively heard that Lucasfilm not only knows where Star Wars Rebels will end, the company knows what’s next for the Star Wars animated world. Rumor has it that Disney and Lucasfilm are planning to do “about” three or four seasons of Star Wars Rebels before starting a whole new Star Wars animated series, with all new characters, set in the timeline of the current movies (the Star Wars sequel trilogy). Since this is so early, there aren’t a lot of specific details. The new cartoon series will be set during the Sequel Trilogy timeline (Episodes VII and beyond), which will be very familiar to fans by that time. If Rebels does go three or four seasons, the new show would hypothetically start in 2017 or 2018, around the same time we’ll see Star Wars Episode VIII. That means we’ll have at least one, possibly two movies of world building in which to set up a new story and set of characters. This information comes from a good source who has learned Lucasfilm’s plans. A representative for Lucasfilm would not comment so we’ll label this as a rumor for now. Disney and Lucasfilm have stated in the past that there would be multiple TV shows coming, so this information makes sense. Be sure to read the entire article.

JJ Abrams and the Official Star Wars Site have let us know that the Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens Teaser Trailer will be available in select theaters this Friday! JJ's not also lets us know that it will run for 88 seconds.
The select theaters are as follows: AZ PHOENIX HARKINS TEMPE MARKETPLACE Good luck this Thanksgiving weekend at seeing the trailer if you are in one of these areas. | |
