My good friend Kevin Graham has
sent word in about his latest charity auction. This auction is to help the 501st
Stormtrooper Legions TK Helmet Project. The TKP is a charity event that will
help the Make A Wish Foundation.
Please take a look at their website for
the Project and who is involved. http://www.501sttkproject.com
"We are auctioning a
print from Kevin Graham a TK Project Artist. This Illustration measures 17” x
21.75” with a 1” border. The illustration is highly detailed in Pointillism and
took over 40 hours to complete. For those not familiar Pointillism is a style of
drawing in which the subject matter is drawn all in tiny dots. The drawing has
also been signed by Mathew Woods, the voice of General Grievous and is
guaranteed to be authentic."
Illustration will be well protected and
mailed in a mailing tub. Be sure to visit this auction to support the Make A Wish Foundation.

Today's new video clip in the Movies Section is the Fan Film entitled
Rogue.
This fan film was released in 2001. Atrocities committed in the name of the Emperor have
compelled Commander Jake Dinn to go AWOL. A career military officer, Dinn has
intimate knowledge of codes, invasion plans, and tactics of the great Imperial
Navy. Flying into the Nosfera System, Dinn is ruthlessly pursued by Imperial
Forces intent on bringing him to justice. After a vicious dogfight with TIE
fighters, Dinn crashes near an outpost on the planet Nosfera.
Seeking help will prove difficult, as some locals do not
trust him and will turn in into the Empire if given a chance. Dinn's only hope
is a Jedi witch in hiding.

Star Wars Fan Films section. You can find other great Fan Films in My Favorite Fan Films

The Art of Star
Wars: The Clone Wars |
The Official Star Wars Site has announced that Chronicle Books
will showcase the incredible art and creativity generated for the smash hit
television series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars in a new 288-page hardcover.
Featuring more than 400 pieces of concept art and exclusive interviews --
including a sneak peek at Season II -- The Art of Star Wars: The Clone
Wars presents the story's development through the eyes of the animators,
sketch artists, writers, designers, producers, and directors.
The impressive hardcover book will be available in two formats -- a standard
edition and a bonus-laden Limited Edition. The latter features a slipcase with
new original cover art by Russell Chong of Lucasfilm Animation. His arrangement
of characters is an homage to the original conceptual work by Ralph McQuarrie
for the original Star Wars movies. The limited edition also includes

envelope with eight full-sized portfolio artworks by the series artists.
The Art of Star Wars: The Clone Wars is written by Frank Parisi and

The book is slated for general release this fall, but fans will have a chance to
get a copy this summer at Comic-Con International in San Diego,
California. |

Mexico's 12-Inch
Figures |
The Official Star Wars Site has a great article about Mexico's
12-Inch Figures. The set of seven Lili Ledy 12-inch dolls from Mexico is
regarded by many as the most famous, or infamous, group of Star Wars
collectibles ever to emerge from south of the border, a distinction earned by
both their rarity and their unique design. Specifically, there are three reasons
collectors avidly seek out this set:
- The sculpts for each character are different from their US counterparts, and
the Tusken Raider figure wasn't even released in the US
- They are very rare -- putting together a complete set can be extremely
challenging
- Very little is known about them, other than the fragments of information
printed on the packaging. This lack of information has only enhanced the mythos
surrounding these figures
Be sure to read the rest of this great article!

Secret Star Wars
Production |
/film has an article about this new production. So what is
LucasFilm shooting? The new footage for the Disney’s Star Tours
ride.
"Our source reveals that the revamp will incorporate prequel
characters (like Naboo citizens and Geonosians) along with many aliens from the
original trilogy (Aqualish. Bith, Rodians, etc). In the action sequence, the
Star Tours vehicle is now going to be chased by Boba Fett. C3PO and R2-D2 are
still the hosts, and Anthony Daniels will be recording his parts this week.
Admiral Ackbar holographically communicates with the Star Tours vehicle."
