Or, if you would like to see an alphabetical listing of all of our ships and vehicles, you can check out the Ship Index. Clone Wars Video Game

Clone Wars Video Game Ad.jpg (199904 bytes)
IGN
has an article featuring the upcoming Clone Wars video game. LucasArts is underway with a Wii and DS-only title based on the upcoming movie and animated series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The ad leads those interested to clonewarsgame.com, which currently redirects to starwars.com. The site isn't ready yet or they are not willing to provide certain information at this time. I am sure it won't be long before the site becomes active.

S.W.O.R.A. Officially Launches

Mark Newbold, our good friend has officially announced the launch of the Star Wars Outer Rim Alliance (S.W.O.R.A.). Mark is a Co-founder of the group. Star Wars fans from all around the world have for a long time now expressed the need to get in touch with each other, in order for their local fandoms to develop and grow. SWORA has been created to answer that need.

Simply put, SWORA is a fan network, the purpose of which is to bring fans from different countries together and to enable them to share experiences, knowledge and information about their local Star Wars activities. Also, as of January 2008, Star Wars actor Gerald Home acts as the official ambassador of SWORA. So, from Mongolia to Mauritius, Alaska to Azerbaijan and everywhere in-between we're waiting for you to contact us. The site is www.swora.net and we can't wait to hear from you. See you there!

Princess-Leia.com Closes

Shawn from our affiliate Princess-Leia.com has pulled the plug. Here is the announcement.

Hello,

I have some sad news. I'm am shutting down Princess-Leia.com. I worked extremely hard on the site, but just couldn't ever get any activity. The site has been dead for months. It's strange because the site itself gets lots of traffic though. We are permanently indexed on the first page of all the search engines under Princess Leia. I've been observing other sites such as Leia's Metal Bikini and they get new Cosplayers all the time it seems. In the last 3 months or so, I've only had one genuine Cosplayer who submitted her pics. The rest have simply been inquires. The forum only has 50 members and that's after being online for nearly 8 months. None of those members are active either. I've given the site plenty of time and have promoted and advertised to the best of my ability. I guess it's just not going to takeoff.

I hate to see this site go. It had lots of great information and a very good looking design that was very easy to use. Best of luck in the future Shawn!

Fanzine Undercity Issue Number 1

This just in from Fan Force Portugal:

Greetings from Portugal.

We are proud to announce the release of our Fanzine Undercity Issue Number 1.

This fanzine has finally met our desire to develop a magazine that could be both appealing and interesting to read. This issue we present to the world what the Portuguese fandom is all about, some highlights of our interview with Dark Horse Comics Editor, Randy Stradley, some reviews, the second part of our fan fiction and more.

We really wanted to revamp our previous Issue #0 to meet the modern design standards. Still, we know there's a lot more we can do with this fine medium and we are looking forward for the future numbers of our fanzine to expand and improve.

Important Note: Due to its size, this magazine is only available through solicitation. You can perform a very simple submission through a simple form, inputting an email box with capacity for more than 10 Mb and we will send it to you.

All you need to do is fill in a very simple form available in the link below.

Issue #2 is due sometime next month. We don't plan release dates, the fanzines will be published (all 12) according to our own availability to build them as this project is non-profitable and build exclusively by fans for fans.

Meanwhile, as you may notice, our blog is now called Undercity! This meets our strategy of building a new online news community for Star Wars Fans. So far we have the Blog and the Fanzine. But we are expanding our work to add a full working website and a forum, aside several events we are planning to promote Star Wars in Portugal.
Stay tuned for these projects.

For now, Undercity welcomes all the dwellers!

Visit us and subscribe Undercity here: http://fanforcept.blogspot.com/2008/05/undecity-1.html

We thank you for you continuous support!
