Guy Lagacé's
Climactic Battlescenes |
Today I have updated Guy Lagacé's
Climactic
Battlescenes with another of his scenes. This was the twelfth in the series
for this section. Remember that these images were his vision of scenes from
movies that had not been created. This image was Guy's take on what Jango Fett
would look like for Episode II. It came out very well! Be sure to also see other
great artists in the Featured Artists
section. Enjoy!
Update: I had been missing several pieces Guy
Lagacé's art but out of the blue he contacted me! I had not heard from him since
2003. Guy has been gracious enough to provide all of his work from 1999 on. It
also includes a few previously unseen pieces that feature his take on Episode
III. It was great re-connecting with my old friend and I will get these pieces
loaded in each gallery slowly but surely. |

3D Clone Wars-
Information, Teaser Trailer, and Images |
As you have probably heard, the Official Star Wars Site has
provided a Teaser Trailer for the upcoming 3D Clone Wars Cartoon. Today I
have added another sixty-one pictures to the 3D Clone Wars Section that were
taken from the trailer. You can find this new section in the Images menu.
The new Clone Wars Cartoon episodes will be 22 minutes long. In the new
series, there will not be a “Justice League of Jedi” as supervising director
Dave Filoni puts it – the Jedi can’t do anything more than Luke, Mace, Qui-Gon,
and Obi-Wan from the films. They can be vulnerable but are intelligent – they
need to think themselves out of situations. It will show how war was a challenge
for the Jedi to fight, and how the moral principles they clung to began to
disintegrate.
General Grievous will have a cough. When asked whether any of Grievous’ past
will be revealed, the only response is, “You’ll be happy.” Filoni also says that
when it comes to big legacy characters like Grievous, Lucas is consulted
directly. The series will debut in Fall 2008.
More new information and images are sure to start popping up now that the
trailer has been released, so be on the lookout for more soon!
