Thanks alot SoS! I hope you will join me on the 30th for more great news and
features here at Galactic Voyage and as always, thank you for your understanding
and support. Take care!

After it's launch period, Star Wars Outer Rim Alliance is finally expanding
it's borders. Five new groups, which are from four different countries are under
consideration for S.W.O.R.A.
membership and are being put under the testing period. Galactic Voyage is one of
those sites! The group is really great and there are a lot of fun topics going
on, so be sure to go have a visit today and stay tuned for more news as things
develop! I am keeping my fingers crossed!

I have seen one of the clips from the Disney Star Wars Weekends that was
cut out of the Behind the Force Video Coverage. In one part it talks about the
clones and how they are individuals that look different from one another. Some
will have scars, some tattoos and Captain Rex will have short blond hair. Doze
Out...
Thanks for the update Doze! Later in the TV series, maybe we will start to
see how troopers are volunteered/drafted into service that are not clones.
Today I have updated Guy Lagacé's
ProbeShots with
another of his scenes. This is the ninth image for this section. This was Guy's
vision of Mace Windu in the Geonosian arena facing his vision of what the Reek
would look like in Attack of the Clones. Notice the blue lightsaber. We didn't
know at that time that Mace was going to have a purple lightsaber and we didn't
know what the Reek actually looked like. Remember, that these scenes were
created before we had details of things to come. It was a great job! Be sure to
also see other great artists in the Featured
Artists section. Enjoy!
Today's new video clip in the Movies Section is from one of your favorite Star Wars
video games! The latest scene we have provided is the Lego Star
Wars-Episode I-Chapter 3 from Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga that was
released November 6, 2007. Special thanks to TechOfficerTodd for capturing and
sharing the cutscene! You can find this video clip in the Video Game Scenes section. If you
have a movie clip or scene from any video game in a AVI, MOV, etc. format,
please send it in! Enjoy!
Jedi Insider has the inside
scoop on the Star Wars latest board game. It looks like Parker Brothers Monopoly
will get the Clone Wars treatment. The game includes 6 collectible figure
tokens.
While at the Official Star Wars Site's Clone
Wars page I discovered something very interesting. It appears that R2-KT may be
making an appearance in the Clone Wars! Who is R2-KT? R2-KT is a real-world
replica of an R2-series astromech droid with pink highlights. Albin Johnson, the
founder of the 501st Legion, wanted to build a pink droid for his daughter
Katie, who was dying from brain cancer. When it was realized that he did not
have enough time, R2-KT was built by Jerry Greene, master droid builder, with
the help of the R2 Builders Club. R2-KT makes appearances at children's
hospitals, and charity events in the southeastern United States. A Hasbro action
figure of this droid was sold at San Diego Comic-Con 2007. I hope this little
droid is truly in the series!
The Official Star Wars Site has posted a new splash page that
features all kinds of goodies for the Clone Wars! Find out about the story,
learn about characters, see trailers, get wallpapers, and more! Be sure to go
have a look!
Today I have updated the Characters Section. The latest additions are
Ukchet and Uutkik from Episode IV. I have added Flash
video to give you something a little more interesting. You can get a listing of
characters using their picture by type at the Characters Section. Or, if you would like to see an
alphabetical listing of all of our characters, you can check out the Character Index. Enjoy!

Our good friend, S.W.O.R.A.
Ambassador and co-founder Gerald Home has recently been interviewed for the
official 501st podcast, and the first part of it is now available. Gerald Home
has given a lot of details about his "behind the scenes" experiences during
Jabba's Palace and Battle of Endor scenes, and of course, about the Star Wars
Outer Rim Alliance.
Listeners also have a chance to win a contest, in
which the winner will be given an autographed item from Gerald Home!
Our good friends and affiliate EU Cantina have let us know
they sent a staffer down to Disney Star Wars Weekends and they have some video
of the event. The first part, is the speech given by Steve Sansweet in the "Behind the Force"
feature. He discusses TFU, TCW, and more. They also have some video of the
autograph sessions with David Prowse (Darth Vader) and Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca)
at their autograph booths. Be on the lookout for a third clip sometime today
that features video of park activities, and a picture gallery.
