Star Wars:
X-Wing: Mercy Kill |
The new Star Wars: X-Wing novel
has finally been given a name according to the Del Rey Twitter page and the Star Wars Books Facebook page. The title will be Mercy Kill.
Written by Aaron Allston, Wraith Squadron will once again take flight July 2012
for the first time in an X-Wing novel since 1999. I really enjoyed this series
of books and look forward to the next installment!

Site Updates
|
Today I have added some new
updates to Galactic Voyage to try and catch up with some of the latest news.
Followers of the site have been concerned and sent in e-mails regarding the
recent drought. As I had mentioned on May 16, 2010 there would be some changes
coming and I was not sure (and I'm still not) how affected the site would be
over the coming months. I have added a note at the top of the News Section:
***Why is there a lack of updates? See the "Possible
Update Changes At Galactic Voyage" article from May 16, 2011.***
Hopefully, this will shed some light on the situation as things move forward.
Look for more updates for sure this week. Thanks for your concern and
understanding. |

Darth Plagueis
Novel |
The Official Star Wars Site has
announced that in Revenge of the Sith, while attending a ballet, Supreme
Chancellor Palpatine casually mentions to Anakin Skywalker the tale of Darth
Plagueis. Plagueis was a Sith Lord so wise and powerful, that he could even
manipulate the Force to create life or stop death in others. Ironically, such a
powerful being could not prevent his own death, for in the way of the Sith,
Plagueis was killed in his sleep by his apprentice.
Palpatine told the captivating tale to start certain wheels spinning in the
Chosen One's head. Ever since then, Star Wars fans have been clamoring to
know more about Plagueis. Author James Luceno delves into the secrets of the
dark side to find out more about Darth Sidious and Darth Plagueis in a new
hardcover novel, Star Wars: Darth Plagueis, which will be available in
hardcover and ebook formats on December 27, 2011 from Del Rey Books.
