New Look For Galactic Voyage

Well, as you can see I have provided a new look for Galactic Voyage! I was originally going to provide a "Clone Wars" theme, but everyone is going that way and I don't want to be exactly like everyone else. Instead, I have X-wings and the TIE laser feel. You can't go wrong with X-wings! The new look is just in time for the Clone Wars movie and the release of The Force Unleashed. Please tell me what you think about the site! I would love to hear from you. Enjoy!

Battlefront III Scheduled For 2009?

Our last report on Battlefront III came in October of 2006 that the game was under discussion and possibly in the beginning stages. Now, Kotaku.com has provided an article stating that:

"Retailer Amazon has listed tentative dates and platforms for Star Wars Battlefront III, long rumored to be in development at Free Radical, developers of Haze and Timesplitters. While we've been under the impression that the UK based dev was hard at work we didn't know how hard at work they are. According to Amazon, Battlefront III is coming to everything — Wii, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, DS, PSP, PlayStation 2. OK, not everything, since it doesn't list a PC version, but if these listings are accurate, anyone and everyone will have access to a version of the game come March 2009. We await more news at E3 next week."

If the information was on Amazon, it has now been yanked off of the site. To many spoilers to soon? However, I am really having a big problem with LucasArts right now. Out of the entire list of gaming platforms, the most important (to me at least) is that the PC will not be getting this game. Another smash hit left off of the PC platform! I still play the Battlefront II game nightly on-line and really enjoy it. I guess I will no longer be able to use my PC as a gaming platform, and that really stinks! What's next? Having to create Galactic Voyage webpages from a Wii?

Guy Lagacé's Probeshots

Today I have updated Guy Lagacé's ProbeShots with another of his scenes. This is the tenth image for this section. This was Guy's vision of Padmé with what he thought the Clones would look like Attack of the Clones. As it turns out, they actually resemble the Revenge of the Sith clones more closely. Remember, that these scenes were created before we had details of things to come. I really love this piece! Be sure to also see other great artists in the Featured Artists section. Enjoy!
