| The Star Wars Special Edition 20th Anniversary | |

Today we celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Star Wars Special Edition! There has been a lot of controversy over the years about the changes that were made to the original film but I am glad we are still able to talk about a film we all love at its core this many years later! The Star Wars Special Edition was released in 1997 marking the end of the "Dark Times" for those old enough to remember what it was like when Return of the Jedi left the theater in 1983. At that time we thought we would never see a Star Wars movie on the big screen again. Now 20 years later we are looking forward to a new Star Wars movie every year! Unbelievable! To celebrate the day, I am providing the trailer for that movie. I vividly remember seeing this trailer for the first time and I have always loved how the X-wing flies out of the TV and the music kicks in full gear! Today is the last new sticker for the Series 1 (Red Cards) completing this series. It is available in the Star Wars Cards section. This specific The Empire Strikes Back sticker is 33- Darth Vader. There were 132 cards and 33 stickers in all from 1980. Next, look for the beginning of the Series 2 Blue Cards!

Chris Miller, the Co-Director of the new Han Solo Standalone Film tweeted the image below with the caption "Han First Shot." A play on the long debated Han Shot First scene from the Cantina in Star Wars: A New Hope. Good luck to the cast and crew on making a great film!

Today's new sticker is available and comes from the Star Wars Cards section. This specific The Empire Strikes Back sticker can be found under Series 1 (Red Cards) and there were 132 cards and 33 stickers in all from 1980. Today's new sticker is the 32-Montage - C-3P0, Lando Calrissian and R2-D2 of that series. Look for more cards and stickers every day!
