| George Lucas And Mellody Hobson Get Engaged | |
George Lucas proposed to long time girlfriend Mellody Hobson. It looks like he had a master plan in place for his retirement from Lucasfilm. This will be George's second marriage since his divorce from Marcia Lucas in 1983. Best of luck to the happy couple!

| Word Wars Giveaway Winners Announced | |
During the holidays Galactic-Voyage.com and T-Shirts.com teamed up to give two lucky winners their pick of a free Star Wars t-shirt. Participants had to pick out a Star Wars t-shirt they wanted from the T-Shirts.com inventory and provide a a funny, interesting, or snarky caption for the shirt. Our first lucky winner is Jamie! Jamie selected this cute Wookiee shirt with the caption of "Once you go Wookiee, you never come back."
Our Second lucky winner is Anthony! Anthony selected the cool Darth Vader shirt below and sent in a little back story to go along with his caption of "I am not amused." After the recent Lucasfilm-Disney thing, some of us are happy, some of us are not. As visible on this shirt, the Dark Lord of the Sith is part of the latter. "Don't worry Darth. Disney (probably) won't change your attire color to pink, give you semi-stylish mouse ears, and make your theme 'When You Wish Upon A Death Star.'" ~"I am not amused."~
