| Harrison Ford Confirmed To Be In Episode VII? | |
IGN has an article with a rumor about the return of Harrison Ford in Episode VII. Latino Review broke the news via an appearance by the site's El Mayimbe on Fox News Latino, where he said, “It’s official. Harrison Ford will reprise his role as Han Solo in the upcoming Star Wars movies.” While not infallible, Latino Review has broken many big film stories that were indeed confirmed down the line and El Mayimbe stated, “I found that out yesterday. I did my due diligence, like I do with everything. Triple checked. Legitimate sources." For now, Lucasfilm has not officially announced anything regarding the subject of Star Wars casting, but El Mayimbe went on to say, “His deal is done. It’s just a formality. They haven’t really announced it yet.” He noted he didn’t know the exact extent of Ford’s role in the new films, but that, “It’s significant.” This feels like the J. J. Abrams announcement, so I would not be surprised to see an official announcement in the coming days if not this evening. Be sure to read the entire article.

Kyle Newman and Paul Bateman have launched Facebook page dedicated to Smuggler’s Gambit. Star Wars: Smuggler’s Gambit was recorded live at Celebration VI in Orlando, Florida, based on an original script by Kyle Newman and F.J. DeSanto. The audio extravaganza was directed by Newman (Fanboys) and produced by Jimmy “Mac” McInerney of RebelForce Radio and was performed to a packed audience of almost 2,000 diehard Star Wars fans! Be sure to check out the page and look for information, pictures, and maybe news in the future about a possible second performance. If it will happen, the Smuggler’s Gambit Facebook page will be your first stop to keep you in the know.
