| The Force Unleashed Xbox Avatar | |
The Official Star Wars Site has announced that LucasArts has updated its offering of Xbox Live Avatar items with some cool new additions from The Force Unleashed. Notable items from The Force Unleashed now available for download for your avatar include a male and female stormtrooper outfit, a masked and unmasked Starkiller costume, the special Ultimate Sith Edition black lightsaber, as well as a playful Mouse Droid to keep your avatar company during those long nights of crushing the Rebels (or taking down the Empire). | The Empire Strikes Back 30th Anniversary Artwork | |
The Official Star Wars Site has announced that every month starting in March, StarWarsShop will release one new limited edition Acme Archives print showcasing a memorable scene from The Empire Strikes Back in serial order -- that is, each new scene will be released in story order as it appeared in the film. What makes this serialized set unique, however, is that each of the 12 scenes will showcase the talents of an artist who brings his or her own individual style to the piece, making for a wonderfully diverse portfolio of artwork inspired by The Empire Strikes Back. Each giclée on watercolor paper print will be extremely limited -- just 100 prints per artist -- which is sure to make them highly-desirable once the edition is sold out. The series launches on March 26. Be sure to read the entire article and see a rough sketch of the first image that will be available. | |

As we approach the 30th Anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back, today's new video clip in the Movies Section is the The Empire Strikes Back Trailer 2 that was released 30 years ago. The Empire Strikes Back Trailer 2 was seen in the fall of 1979 and is considered very rare. It was the second full trailer for The Empire Strikes Back and featured the music of Vivaldi's 'Four Seasons.' You can find this video clip in the Movie Trailers section. Today's new video clip in the Movies Section is the third and final chapter of the Spirits of the Force Trilogy Fan Film entitled Ch 3-Reflections of Evil. This Star Wars fan film was released February 6, 2009 and made by members of the Phoenix Fan Force. Kyle Katarn, Jan Ors, and Jedi Master Bendeen investigate the disappearance of young Jedi apprentice Kit Parson at the hands of the mysterious slave girl, Celeese. Today I have updated the Ships Section with the GS-100 Salvage Ship (Vulture's Claw). This page includes a Flash video of the ship to give you something a little more interesting. You can get a listing of transport ships using their picture by type at the Transports Section. | Cut Scenes Section Update | |
The Cut Scenes section has been updated with a breakdown and pictures of a scene cut from Return of the Jedi. The second scene provided in the Return of the Jedi Cut Scenes section is The Rancor Pit. I have always been fascinated by the scenes that were left out of the movies and I just wanted to share with you another cut scene from the film. Enjoy!

Kyle Katarn and Jan Ors join young Jedi apprentice Kit Parson and Master Vette Bendeen to investigate an unusual transmission that could spell disaster for On'dos and Cod'os, two planets that have worked for decades to achieve peace.
