| Sam Witwer Possibly In Live-Action Series? | |
Sam Witwer was interviewed in the last On-line Supplement for the Star Wars Insider that is available for Hyperspace members. Sam is the actor who was used for Darth Vader's secret apprentice that will be in the new upcoming The Force Unleashed video game in 2008. In the interview he talked a lot about the game and his roll in it. Also, how the story arc will forever change our view of some of the characters found in the original trilogy. The game is set between episode III & IV, so there could be an opportunity for Sam to be in the Live-Action television series that will be set during that same time period. | Images Section Completely Restructured | |
To close out our month long celebration of Galactic Voyage's 8th Anniversary, I have completely restructured the Images Section. You will now find a new gallery that will not only include the pictures we have had, but the ability to offer you lots of different and new categories of pictures. Some sections still do not have pictures yet, but the will be coming soon. Several images that were from the movies and were previously available are not in the gallery because I will soon be providing better quality captures from the movies. The 3D Clone Wars images are there as well, and I have added some new High-Res pictures to get you started with new content! Be sure to check out the new Images Section today! | |

The Official Star Wars Site has provided a look at the 2007 Holiday Card. An annual tradition since the '70s, Lucasfilm has created a different holiday card each year for corporate friends and colleagues, with Star Wars a popular theme throughout the years. This year, recipients will open their card to three lines of caroling stormtroopers. Be sure to go have a look! | |

| Cut Scenes Section Moved | |
Today I have completed the move of the Cut Scenes Section from the Images menu to the Features menu. This section originally started out as pictures, but now includes details of some of the scenes. This section will continue to expand to bring you information about what scenes were cut from the Star Wars movies. | |

| Movies Section Updated | |
Today I have updated the Movies Section with the Fan Film entitled Troops. The Granddaddy of Star Wars fan films, Troops made its debut on the Internet in 1997. The film is a parody of COPS, set in the Star Wars universe. In the film, Imperial stormtroopers from the infamous Black Sheep Squadron patrolling the Dune Sea on the planet Tatooine run into some very familiar characters while being filmed for the hit Imperial TV show Troops. The film jump-started the modern fan film movement, as it was one of the first short films to bring fan films into the digital age. It was originally broken into several parts because the technology of the time provided slow download capability. The film was awarded the inaugural Pioneer Award in the Lucasfilm-sponsored 2002 Official Star Wars Fan Film Awards. Enjoy!

| Star Wars Galaxies Celebrates Life Day | |
Star Wars Galaxies has announced they will be celebrating Life Day this year. What is Wookiee Life Day? You would have to be an older Star Wars fan to have seen the Star Wars Holiday Special that aired on CBS during the Christmas Holiday season in 1978 and was the only time it was ever shown. You can download the show here. Traditionally observed on the Wookiee home world Kashyyyk, Life Day is a time to reflect on the renewal of life and to remember those who have passed on. Wookiees will often brave adverse conditions to make it home for this holiday as it is an important time for family bonding and thankfulness. Even the Imperial blockade that is stationed around their enslaved home world can not keep Wookiees from recognizing this most important day. This year, under the watchful eye of the Empire, Wookiee elders have granted Queen Kylantha and the city of Theed a Tree of Life as a gesture of goodwill. The time-honored Wroshyr Tree can also be found in Kachirho, Kashyyyk. Under the branches you will find festivities to truly celebrate this joyful season. The Life Day celebration begins December 12, so be sure to read all about it!
