He provides a list of all the different aliens that formed the backbone of Jabba’s Palace and takes a look at the behind-the-scenes information about the origin of the aliens’ (nick)names and about their appearance(s) in the movie. | D23's Star Wars Possibilities | |
According to Hollywood.com, Disney's annual company-wide preview expo, D23, is about ready to make the jump to lightspeed. The August 9-11 event in Anaheim, California, will include Star Wars information this year. Hopes for fans include Episode VII casting news, word on when we'll be able to see the final, unreleased episodes of The Clone Wars, and, most likely of all, an announcement about new Star Wars rides and attractions at Disney's many theme parks. They also have a Google hangout video with TheForce.net's Eric Geller. Check it out. | |

| LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles-Menace of the Sith | |
The Official Star Wars Site has announced that LEGO Jedi, Sith, and clones return! LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles, a three-part animated special filled with action and humor, continues with "Menace of the Sith," premiering on Wednesday, September 4 at 8:00 p.m. (ET, PT) on Cartoon Network. In "Menace of the Sith," Darth Sidious shows off the new Sith clone, JEK 14, an extremely powerful weapon of the dark side. However, JEK has a mind of his own and wants to be his own master. It's up to Yoda and the Jedi to stop the Sith -- and to try and bring JEK 14 to the side of good. The Yoda Chronicles is written by Michael Price (The Simpsons) and produced by Wil Film, and marks the first time entirely new Star Wars characters and vehicles have been created specifically for LEGO Star Wars.

This is the International Star Wars Fandom with Gerald Home/SWORA Panel at Star Wars Celebration Europe 2 in Germany. Gerald Home, who was on the creature team of Return of the Jedi and performed Squid Head and the Mon Calamari officer in the movie, has become a true ambassador for international Star Wars fandom. He was joined by Tim Veekhoven of the Belgian Star Wars Fan Club and Ates Cetin of Yildiz Savaslari (Star Wars Turkey), as well as fan club leaders from different parts of Europe and beyond. While separated by many kilometers, they are united by their love of all things Star Wars. Enjoy! | |
