Galactic Voyage Re-Joins S.W.O.R.A.

Today I have the honor of announcing that Galactic Voyage has been re-accepted as a representative for the United States in the Star Wars Outer Rim Alliance (SWORA). The launch of a new SWORA was announced at Celebration Europe II in Germany and can be found at www.swora.info and on Facebook at Facebook.com/theswora. SWORA's goal is to bring together as many groups and fans (websites, groups, and individuals can now join) to discuss and celebrate their love of Star Wars. Thanks to the SWORA team for asking Galactic Voyage to return to the group.

Lucasfilm Part of the D23 Expo

Let the Adventures Begin: Live Action at The Walt Disney Studios from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Fans will enjoy exclusive video clips, filmmaker discussions, and star appearances at this session hosted by Walt Disney Studios Chairman Alan Horn, Disney Live Action Production President Sean Bailey, and Marvel Studios President and Producer Kevin Feige. I am really not expecting much in the way of new information from Lucasfilm at the D23 Expo. If they weren't willing to give us Episode VII nuggets at Star Wars Celebration Europe 2 in Germany last week, I would certainly think they would not give us any new information at this Expo. My guess is they are still keeping things close to the vest for a while longer.

Star Wars Celebration Europe-Words with Warwick: The Five Fetts

Every actor to play Boba Fett on screen (Jeremy Bulloch, from The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi; Daniel Logan, from Attack of the Clones and the voice of the animated Boba in the three-part Season Two finale and in Season Four of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series; Dickey Beer, stunt performer in Return of the Jedi; and John Morton, from a Cloud City scene in The Empire Strikes Back) -- along with Temuera Morrison, who portrayed Jango Fett -- get together for special chat at Star Wars Celebration Europe with Warwick Davis.

Today's new card is available in the Star Wars Cards section. It can be found under Series 5 (Orange Cards) and there were 66 cards and 11 stickers in all from 1978. Today's new orange card is 283-The Cantina Musicians of that series. Look for more cards and stickers every day!

TV Show Needs Star Wars Friends For Casting Within The Next 24 Hours

Becky from Shine Television in the UK sent in the following e-mail:

Hi there,

My name is Becky and I'm contacting you from Shine Television (makers of programmes such as Merlin and Masterchef). We are currently casting for a new Channel 4 series for which we are looking for groups of friends, who have a hobby in common (Star Wars) to go on the holiday of a lifetime.

We're particularly interested in exploring the world of Star Wars and would like to know if you of any of your friends (age 21-26) might be interested in finding out more about this fun and exciting opportunity.
