If you are an old Star Wars fan like me this video will be a step back in time. Being Christmas is right around the corner, remember a time when you were a kid and all you wanted for Christmas was Star Wars toys. Today's new video clip takes you back to Christmas 1979. It gives me chills to see some of these presents being opened, and what I felt like as a kid when I received something Star Wars. I wish we had a video camera back then. Enjoy! |

Today I have updated Movies section with the latest Star Wars Review. Today's new video clip in the Movies Section is the Fan Film entitled The Dark Lord. This fan film was released November 25, 2006 and runs at 125 minutes. "The Dark Lord" takes place after Episode VI. See well know characters like Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, and Han Solo along with new characters like John BingBing. "The Dark Lord" is no usual fan film. All the main actors are kids. Don't let that fact fool you. There are some really great shots and effects in this film. This is the English version of the film and includes subtitles. You can find this video in the Other Star Wars Fan Films section. You can find other great Fan Films in My Favorite Fan Films section. Today's video clip is the first full Trailer for the Threads of Destiny Fan Film. We provided the teaser on October 22, 2010 which can be viewed in our Archived News. 100 years after "Return of the Jedi" the Jedi order and the Republic are once again active. The planet Coreign produces a special ore that can power an entire city, but the Skenvi empire is interested in its potential for supreme spaceship armor. This film is scheduled to be released sometime in 2011. Enjoy! |

Carrie Fisher’s hit stage production of the intoxicating autobiographical tale of her life, comes to HBO as a feature-length documentary. Debuting SUNDAY, DEC. 12 (9:00-10:30 p.m. ET/PT), the special combines archival footage with her one-woman stage performance, which was taped in June before a live audience. In WISHFUL DRINKING, Fisher details her complicated yet eclectic extended family tree in Hollywood Inbreeding 101, employing a blackboard and wooden pointer. Her father Eddie Fisher’s very public affair with Elizabeth Taylor ended what had been perceived and celebrated as a “storybook marriage,” and she and her brother Todd later watched both her mother’s and father’s “once white-hot bright star of celebrity slowly dim, cool and fade.” In 1973, at her mother’s urging, the 17-year-old Fisher enrolled at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London; two years later, her life changed forever when she donned a white dress as Princess Leia in George Lucas’ “Star Wars.” The film debuts on SUNDAY, DECEMBER 12 (9:00 p.m. ET/PT), exclusively on HBO. |

Today's new video clip in the Movies Section is from The Clone Wars Season 3. The eleventh available episode is Pursuit of Peace. Synopsis: Padmé, Bail Organa and Onaconda Farr attempt to rally Senators in opposition to a bill that would appropriate funds for millions of new clone troops and have disastrous financial consequences for the Republic. Their opposition to the measure, however, soon makes them targets for intimidation and attacks by hired guns.
