Today's new video clip in the Movies Section is the Fan Film entitled Essence of the Force that was created in 2001. A group of marauders have assaulted the peaceful planet Doozadu, enabling their leader, the evil Mewey Maul (you've heard of his half brother) and his band of mercenaries to seek the planets most prized possession, the very essence of the Force. They have done this knowing full well that this treasure is under the protection of the Jedi Order. This is a great film with a bit of a twist at the end. You can find this video clip in the Movie Trailers section. This teaser used pre-production artwork from Ralph McQuarrie instead of live-action sequences as the scenes were not ready at that time. | Family Guy - Something, Something, Something Dark Side DVD | |

tvshowsondvd.com has announced that Family Guy - Something, Something, Something Dark Side will be arriving for DVD and high-definition Blu-ray on December 22nd. This Empire Strikes Back spoof goes beyond making fun of the Star Wars universe, as reports from Comic Con say we'll see "both Elroy Jetson and Leonard Nimoy's mailbox putting in appearances", and hear from James Woods in a cameo. There may also possibly be an early first look into the beginnings of the third spoof in the trilogy: "Episode VI: We Have A Bad Feeling About This".
