The Official Star Wars Site has announced that Star Wars: Episode II Attack Of The Clones: The IMAX Experience opened big on the biggest screens this weekend, posting a forceful $1,435,259 on 58 IMAX screens in selected cities in North America, for a per engagement average of $24,746. This is one of the biggest openings ever for an exclusive IMAX release. The film is being distributed by Twentieth Century Fox exclusively to IMAX theatres through the holiday season.
