Chewbacca in Seattle

The Seattle Star Wars Society is proud to announce the arrival of Star Wars legend Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca) on Saturday, December 1.

Peter will be at Polly Esther's Culture Club in downtown Seattle, greeting fans and signing autographs. Polly Esther's is throwing a big Star Wars party that night and the SSWS will be there!!!! All are encouraged to wear their Star Wars costumes. I'm sure there will be some great prizes for those in costume. The sad news is, this particular event is for ages 21 and older, but don't fret, as we're currently working out the details to have a special get-together for all ages :-)

Chewie will be signing autographs on all your Star Wars items. From what we have been told, he's only charging $5.00 per autograph. There will be an open buffet and plenty of time to chat, meet, and have your picture taken with Chewie.

After meeting Chewie, everyone is free to stay all night and have fun at one of Seattle's hottest night clubs. Polly Esther's is very retro, with 70's and 80's themed sections, including an area dedicated to Star Wars! And if we can persuade him, perhaps Chewie will stay a bit longer and party with us!
