The Skywalkers
The Official Star Wars Site talks about the Skywalkers! The Star Wars saga is the story of the Skywalker family, and C-3PO and R2-D2 have been tasked by none other than Luke Skywalker to collect the tales of the Skywalkers.
The end result is a series of Star Wars: Connections introductory segments accompanying the FOX broadcasts of the Star Wars films. In a segment paired with Return of the Jedi (May 2), Anthony Daniels returns beneath the golden droid shell to play Threepio as he and Artoo describe the story of the Skywalkers.
See the evolution of a young tow-headed slave boy from Tatooine, as he meets a beautiful young Queen from a besieged world. Ten years later, the two are paired together as the galaxy undergoes seismic political changes. Eventually and inevitably, they fall deeply in love, bringing forth a new generation of heroes through their twin children of Luke and Leia. This segment compiles clips from Episodes I, IV, V and VI, and includes early glimpses of next month's Attack of the Clones.
The network broadcasts of The Phantom Menace (May 9) also has a similar segment, illustrating the connections that bind the saga together, and previewing the story to come in Episode II.
