The Making of Episode II Part 12

The Official Star Wars Site has posted the 12th and final installment of "The Making of Episode II." Star Wars movies end in a big fashion, and Attack of the Clones is no different. The last 45 minutes of the movie are a visual feast of incredible detail. Sandwiched between the droid factory and the battles of the Clone War is the centerpiece of the sixth reel, the massive Geonosian arena, and the incredible confrontations that occur there.

So huge is the action that takes place there, effects artists split the arena sequences into two parts, code-named GAM and GJB -- Geonosis Arena Monsters and Geonosis Jedi Battle. This documentary, the last of the series, examines just what it took to make an abstract idea of hundreds of Jedi in an arena filled with creepy insectoid aliens into an on-screen reality.
