JediNet.com to close for good?
Here is a quote from their
site: "It's a very sad day here at JediNet.com. After over five years of reporting Star
Wars news, events, and providing multimedia and entertainment to fans across the
world, it seems as if JediNet.com will be shutting its doors."
"While we recently thought that the latest server switch would provide a safe and
secure home for one of the largest and most professional Star Wars sites on the
net, we were mistaken. We are currently in negotiations with our last hope, however, if
that deal should fall through our site will no longer be active."
"We would like to sincerely thank those of you who visit us regularly, and those of
you who have contributed to our site over the past years. It is not an easy decision to
shut our doors, as we are well aware that the online Star Wars community will
certainly feel our absence."
"If you would like to relay comments on to us you can send them via mail to JediNet's
Vader or JediNet's Jar Jar."
Wow! This would be a huge loss for all of us Star Wars fans!! I hope this is a temporary situation!
