Race Cars and Star Wars

The Official Star Wars Site announces a deal with Cheerios to produce three new race cars. Star Wars and NASCAR combine once again as General Mills launches a new website dedicated to their three special edition Cheerios racers. On this new site, you can check out each car design; there's an Episode I, Episode II and a Trilogy paint scheme for car #43. Examine them from different angles, download them to your desktop and pick your favorite.

John Andretti will be driving a new one-time-only Star Wars Episode II Light Side vs. Dark Side paint scheme in May at the Lowe's Motor Speedway to commemorate the movie premier.

Also in May, selected boxes of Cheerios and other General Mills cereals will be offering a free mail-in for the collectible 1:64-scale die-cast #43 Cheerios racer.
