Don't Forget AFI's 100 Years 100 Thrills!
TV Guide has the schedule for AFI's100 Years 100 Thrills show tonight on CBS at 8 pm/ET.
"Harrison Ford hosts this clip-filled countdown of the 100 most thrilling American movies, as chosen by 1800 film-community leaders. The honorees represent a wide range of films, including Westerns, sci-fi flicks, action adventures, sports pictures and horror movies. American Film Institute director Jean Picker Firstenberg says the common thread that runs throughout is that each pick has "a total adrenaline-inducing impact" on viewers. Firstenberg hopes the program sparks debate about the films and prompts viewers to see the movies, whether for the first, 10th or 100th time. Among those interviewed are directors Steven Spielberg, John Carpenter, Sidney Lumet and William Friedkin, and actors Sandra Bullock, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jamie Lee Curtis and Donald Sutherland. — Tim Holland"
