Star Wars Goodies at Comic-Con!

The Official Star Wars Site has provided a bit of information that you may or may not know about the upcoming Comic-Con. Attendees to Comic-Con will have a chance to get an exclusive preview card from Topps' lavish all foil photo-based set, Star Wars: Evolution. This promo card features the likenesses of Jake Lloyd and Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker, bridged by the imposing mask of Darth Vader. (See Picture) The Evolution set is not available until August. On the back of the card is a description of Lucasfilm's summer convention presentation, Star Wars: Connections. The card will be available only at the five conventions where the presentation is being given.

Also, Lucasfilm's Steve Sansweet will host a special multimedia presentation entitled Star Wars: Connections. The presentation explores the complete saga of the Skywalker family, their allies and their enemies. With Episode II on the horizon, new connections will be made, bridging Episode I with the films of the original trilogy, and bringing the complete Star Wars saga into focus.

"There are interesting patterns occurring in the story, and things in Episode II will suddenly make clear how everything -- from major characters to the tiniest details -- fits together," says Sansweet. The presentation features never-before-seen behind-the-scenes footage of the upcoming Star Wars film, with brand new interviews with Rick McCallum, Hayden Christensen, Natalie Portman, Ewan McGregor and Samuel L. Jackson, among others.
