News About the Mandalore!

Today Aldera.Net posted some real intersting news about the Mandalore from an e-mail they recieved from an inside source.  It is posted as a Rumor for now, so read it with a grain or two of salt.  It is also pretty in-depth, so I guess we will see!  Possible Spoilers - Highlight to read:

Apparently the Mandalore are a sort of "warrior cult" or "assassin's guild." They use the force, but not in the sense that the Jedi or Sith do. Instead of being in tune with the force and having the ability to control it, they simply can sense disturbances and tremors. While not possessing the speed or strength of the Jedi, they can "hear" thoughts and emotions from others. In a sense, they are "force-bloodhounds," having the ability to track and second guess the actions of Jedi. (I'm thinking of that slight head movement from Boba when Luke was hiding around the corner in ESB.) SUPPOSEDLY, they used to be a large faction of honorable warriors much like the Jedi, but over the years had become a mercenary army of killers for hire. Most currently, they are under the employ of the Hutts, serving as hitmen for the Star Wars Hutt Mafioso!

The pictures I have seen of what I assume to be the Mandalore are similar in appearance, but vary in style. Most all of them have sigils/ideograms tattooed on their bodies and employ the use of war paint over their faces in the style of Boba Fett's/Royal Guard's helmet visor. They also have battle armor suits that are kind of like a souped up version of Boba's armor, mainly silver and blue.

I saw snap shots of actors Makiya Tamaguchi, Tom Flanagan, and Temuera Morrison in both the armor and make-up. I guess they are the mains. Makiya is grey skinned with black eyes, but Temuera and Flanagan look fairly human. I hear them referred to as the "mandalores" but I don't know if that name is being used in the script or not. In fact, all of them had the surname "Fett" on their pics. Makiya's pic actually had nothing on it, Flanagan's had "O. Fett" and Temuera's had "J. Fett." There was also a picture of a kid with Temuera with the name "B. Fett."

I also don't think that all these characters were related. I think "Fett" is like a clan name or something. I should mention too that Makiya had what looked to be a saber on his belt but the others didn't. Could be wrong though.
