Episode II and C-3PO!

Here are some things that we already know about Episode II and some good new info on C-3PO!

Spoilers - Highlight to read:

Episode II is darker.
We discover the stormtroopers are clones.
It features a galactic war and the romance between Anakin and Amidala
Fett's father is Jango Fett played by Temuera Morrison. Daniel Logan plays a young Boba Fett.

While we're all wondering about Anakin's fate, another character we've always known as a good guy will betray the Rebel Alliance.

Who could it be?

During a Anthony Daniels Q and A session he confirmed that he had been "honing my puppeteering skills." I guess this confirms that at least some of Episode 2 features the unfinished 3PO. He also confirmed that he knew for sure when 3PO is completed. This leads me to believe that it will be by the end of Episode 2.

After a question about the Hoth scenes in "Empire", Daniels began describing a recent "cold weather" shooting experience, but stopped himself and said he'd almost revealed an "Episode 2" secret.

Beyond the Q and A, Daniels alluded to the possibility of a "naughty" 3PO appearing in the film.

This may give us some insight to the bullet at the top of this artice that states "Another character we've always known as a good guy will betray the Rebel Alliance."  C-3PO is one of the only characters to make it through all of the movies and been "Always known as a good guy."

Could this also be a hint to the fact that C-3PO does't remember Tatooine when he returns there in Episode IV?  Could he have betrayed the Alliance and been evil, then had his memory wiped?  That could explain it, but that is only my opinion.  What do you think?  Send me an e-mail with your thoughts! Special thanks to TF.N for the great info!
