Featured Artist Craig Burt has provided us with a breakdown of one of his paintings that provides us with a look into how the picture came about. Here is some of the article created by Craig: This is another old one from the early days of production of Episode II when I didn't have allot of visual information to work with. | Star Wars Special Edition - 10th Anniversary | |

Well, it is hart to believe that 10 years ago today I had been waiting in line to be the first to see the new Special Edition of A New Hope! It was a time when fans were excited again to be getting new Star Wars figures, and a movie that included new CG effects and characters. We got to see the old Jabba scene included back in the film with the Jabba we know versus the human stand in that had only been on behind the scenes shows. New shots of the attack on the Death Star provided cool new angles and shots of X-Wings dog fighting with TIE fighters. We were introduced to the Ronto, and to the new and improved Dewback. Ahhh... the memories! |
