This may not exactly be Star Wars news, but for those of us who grew up with Star Wars in the 70's also grew up with a great TV show called Battlestar Galactica! Finally, some awesome news on this subject!
Coming Soon reports the sci-fi franchise Battlestar Galactica will be relaunched as a four-hour miniseries that will shoot in Vancouver mid-to-late March.
Ronald D. Moore ("Star Trek: The Next Generation") has written the current draft of the script. The project was previously aborted because X-Men director Bryan Singer couldn't get the project off the ground.
The Glen Larson-created Battlestar Galactica premiered on ABC in 1978 and ran two seasons starring Lorne Greene as the commander of the title vessel battling the Cylons.
