Galactic Voyage is proud to present the Galactic Fanatic! We will be picking a new fan like you to feature! We would like to let the world know some of the reasons behind your love of Star Wars, how you got started, and your most treasured items. Fill out the form here! Galactic Voyage Featured Fanatic! Name: Lessa Are you a regular at Galactic Voyage and if not, how did you hear about the Galactic Fanatic? No, but I've been here a few times. I followed a link on a search engine and ended up book marking the site. It was so cool. How did you get involved with Star Wars? My parents first showed me the movie when I was younger. I watched them over and over, and, BOOM!, I'm hooked. Which Star Wars movie is your favorite and why? I think I like Phantom Menace best because that's where everything starts. I mean, you got little Anakin Skywalker, Jar Jar Binks, Senator Palpatine, Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, and this whole mess of characters that portrayed the beginning: how Anakin Skywalker was found and how he began becoming a Jedi. Which group are you the biggest fan of (Sith, Jedi, Bounty Hunters, etc.) and why? The Jedi! They're SO cool, the Sith don't compare (especially since Jedi were around first!!!!), and they're the good guys. I love rooting for the good guys. Plus, their lightsaber fighting is the bomb. What are your most treasured Star Wars items? My tapes of the movie of course! It's cool to be able to watch them whenever I want. What is your greatest Star Wars moment? (Ex. First in line to see Star Wars, Had lunch with Carrie Fisher, etc.) Uh...If you
give me examples like that, I can't actually answer the question. I guess
it was when I got all my girlfriends together and we reserved the tickets
for the movie like, five minutes before they sold out. It was like, WHOA!
That was close. There's so much out there about Star Wars, like the difference between a Knight and a Master. Strictly speaking, Luke WASN''T a Jedi Master, because he hadn't successfully had a Padawan become a Knight. Things like that, little details, are what make Star Wars and the take-offs in the books so cool.
